Things Done:
So far I feel as though I am right with the ball game. I have a mentor who seems like an awesome individual and is really helpful. She has given me a multitude of ideas and things to do. I have scheduled meetings with her on September 27th and 28th. On the 27th I will be presenting here class with an argument on the topic of DNA and whether there should be a DNA database for everyone: criminal and non-criminal. And on the 28th I will be at her class again to take pictures of a mock crime scene and ask questions. I have also been updating my log with my research and I will continue to update it as I get more things to do (driving time, class discussion, crime scene analysis, etc.).
Things to get Done:
However, before the 27th and 28th I need to look up strategies on an argument (how to get it started, keep it going, etc.) because I must hold this argument for a good 45 mins to an hour. Also, I need to get the mentor contract/background check filled out with her, which will be done the Thursday and Friday I am meeting with her.
